I have never been one to have a BIG imagination, so at times I think play is silly. However, being a Special Ed teacher I do realize that children need to be taught to play, and given opportunities to bring out their imagination. Over the years in Claremont I have had great examples of moms that provide this for their children. I have a really great friend who to this day loves to go to real life tea-party restaurants...yes they do have those...you can wear the big hats and everything! I always laughed at her, but then when I shot this princess tea-party I kind of understood the magic that is in this type of play. It really is a chance for a little girl to be dainty and girly! The environment for this photo shoot wasn't the greatest, it was in really harsh lighting, and there wasn't a lot of room to get great angles, but with all those excuses, I really love how they turned out.

Thanks ReAnn for letting me share in the Princess Birthday Party!
