My little friends...

I finally picked up my camera...it has been awhile and it felt nice.  The fall season over the past few years has been a super busy time for me.  I always felt I jipped my family out of a lot of Saturday's because I was so busy taking pictures of others August - October.  This year it feels nice to not have so much on my plate...however I realized after looking at all the those little faces that were always inside my lens and seeing them through the lens of someone else, I feel a bit empty.  I don't always enjoy the stress of a shoot or the time it takes to edit.  But I do enjoy the time I get to see these little people (and big).  To me a picture isn't about wearing the perfect outfit, having the best props, or posing the perfect way or looking at the camera giving the best smile.  It is the little expressions that make up that person that make the picture.  If I can capture a part of their personality and not the forced smile I feel I have done my job. My focus is the person. I miss all my little friends in Pennsylvania but I am happy I got to meet a few new ones...
Baby Brother will be coming up next...
